This Silver & Lapis Pendant has a beautiful antique or vintage quality to it. Of course the focal point is the lapis lazuli stone at the center. It's worth noting at this point too that it's a very lovely example of a lapis. It has little to none of the inclusions that lapis is known for and such a bright, bold color too. Moving away from the stone however, the setting is very pretty and so feminine. It has a braided detail around the edge and the pendant is reminiscent of a vintage hat, complete with a ribbon detail at the back.
The pendant measures 1 and 3/4 inches in length by 1/2 an inch in width. At the widest point the pendant measures 9.35 mm in thickness or depth. To clarify that's measuring the depth of the pendant from the highest point of the stone to the silver base. The lapis itself measures 14.3 mm in height by 10 mm in width. The pendant weighs 9.6 grams. The bail on this pendant is quite large and accommodates chains upto 6 mm in width.
This pendant does have some light surface wear on the back. This is nothing more than it would experience with everyday wear and it's only more noticeable there because of the mirror finish.
