When you consider all the amazing designs we've seen from Trollbeads during 2019, it shouldn't come as any great shock that we're due a retirement. Generally these happen in December, either just before or to coincide with the spring release. The list this time surprised me enormously as some of my favorite glass from recent years are included.

For anyone new to collecting a retirement means the beads exit production. There will still be existing stock out there, some at retailers, some spread among the various markets' distributors but no more will be made. How fast a bead disappears is impossible to predict. Some retired beads remain easy to find for years after. Others vanish alarmingly fast.

One thing to note here is that two kits are retiring but not all of the beads in those kits are. We've seen this before where Trollbeads have combined two kits into one with a mini "relaunch."

Be warned gold lovers, quite a chunk of gold designs are leaving production. Due to the higher price points on these beads, you can generally expect fewer beads to be in circulation. Gold can disappear quickly.
